Hey everyone, thought id make this thread specifically for this school, I see this school is mentioned in other threads.. anyone else applying to this program or currently in ? How is/ was your application process?

honestly I had to take it twice, science was a weak spot for me. Theres a TEAS app that was very helpful and free.. its called "TEAS test " and orange. Youtube also helped a lot , Science with Suzanna, Math review with Brendon Craft  and Understanding the different types of sentences for the English.. reading is kind just read the passages and answer the best choice based on facts and not opinions if that makes sense. Are you taking the proctored exam?

Thank you for all the info, I’ll look into them. I’m not very excited to start studying but I know it has to get done. I still need to register so I believe there is a way I can take it at home if not I’ll go into CDU to take it. Hopefully everything goes good and I’ll see you in the Spring. I saw a bunch of the new students at PIH since I’m volunteering there and a lot of them say it’s not organized and we have to be flexible with the school. So I just hope making some study buddies is going to help get me through the program, 2 years is not bad.

Hey were you able to attend the discover CDU event this past weekend?

Yes. It was very basic. History of the school, and then we broke out into the nursing programs. They pretty much just said if we do this to make sure we are ready to make nursing school our top priority. They had a Q & A part at the end so that helped too.

Hi everyone,

I'm still working on applying to this program for Spring 2021. So far, the application process has been fairly straightforward. I only have to submit my personal statement and take the TEAS. I'm taking the TEAS test through ATI in 2 weeks and fingers crossed, I get the score I want/need. If not, I'll retake it with CDU in November.

Hi all! 

I am applying to the MSN program to begin this Spring. I was wondering if you all could help with a few questions I had, since I haven't been able to get in contact with anyone from admissions. Is there a personal statement prompt/guidelines? Where can we send official transcripts? Not all of the schools I have attended send transcripts electronically. I have submitted the App and I am now trying to complete the supplemental sections.

Hey, glad to see someone else applying. So I’ve been working with -----------------------------. I had my official transcripts sent to her and my LOR as well from 3 sources. There might be something online about the personal statement but I remember being told it was a general one and optional. Why do you want to be a nurse etc. try to complete it, I’m sure it will help. I still need to do mines as well. And lastly just pass the TEAS with a 75% on all sections and subsections. I’m working on this too. Hope it helps. Good luck
