Hey everyone, thought id make this thread specifically for this school, I see this school is mentioned in other threads.. anyone else applying to this program or currently in ? How is/ was your application process?

Just the basic interview questions and a couple dosage calculations, but nothing too hard. They did use the Microsoft Teams platform for the interview and I did make it a point to familiarize myself with the software beforehand so I would feel comfortable. I had only been using Zoom prior. However, I would wait on doing all that until they get back to you. Hopefully, it’s soon!

Is this thread for MSN- FNP , MSN programs or BSN? I am an MSN-FNP applicant . Just wanted to see if I was in the correct place. Thank you kindly.

MSN 

Ugh so I had my interview today which went really well but answered 2 of the math questions wrong and really bummed about that . I had some issues with receiving  the documents so ended up having to rush when I did get them  and made a mistake on the answers. Hoping they don’t put too much emphasis on that . Everything else went amazing. For those who have an interview please take your time and review before you submit !

No one asked me any math questions. They just wanted to ensure work did not get in the way. That is so odd.... I am an RN.

Are you an Entry levels Masters in Nursing applicant? I think this is where I went wrong. I already have my BSN and applied for the MSN- FNP program.

I think this is where I may have gotten confused.

Yes I am a ELM student. I got my B.S. in Bio from UCLA.

I think the interview is pretty standard, I watched Youtube videos to prepare. good luck !

I got accepted in the MSN FNP program. I know this thread is for the MSN program, however there are no other threads for this school. PM me if you will be attending Spring 2021 or even Fall 2021. Would love to stay in touch and see if we have any classes. Thank you kindly and stay safe.

Hi yes  nurseh2017, ADN,BSN I’m looking to apply to Charles drew for the fall 2021 PMHNP program. How is your experience? So you have any pointers/suggestions? Thanks for your time.
