So I have finish all my classes and brought my profile score up to a 75. This will be my second time applying. The first time I applied with a profile score of a 60. So hopefully this time my 75 helps me get in. I was just curious to know other peoples profile scores. I can't wait to submit my application in August!

I called Charity at 11.30am, the lady that answered the phone said that the profile cut off score was 75, but letters would not be sent out until mid October. Lets hope they do in fact come earlier. All the best to every one.

OMG! I hope you are right, and that I calculated my score correctly. I have been praying with my fingers and toes crossed. Wish everyone the very best!

Argh. It's such a tease. "Hey, we've made decisions but we aren't going to tell you for another 5 weeks"

I know someone who called and was told that the lady who normally evaluates applications has been replaced and she doubted letters would be out early this year (Much to my disappointment!) I'm also surprised they disclosed cut off information. Trying not to get my hopes up too much, but this is consuming me over here! When letters do go out everyone should keep this thread bumped so we can (hopefully) go through all the obstacles that come between getting accepted and actually starting.

I called to try to get my final official score. They wouldn't release it.

Well that sucks. Did you try to confirm the cut off score or just your own personal score?

Ms Wilson left at the end of summer semester. The lady I spoke said she was helping out the lady and when I asked her about the profile city off, she said the other lady ad told her 75. So really Its third had information. At the end of the day none of what gets quoted on here has any substance until we have our letters in hand. I am sure we will all know soon enough. Lol

Exactly! They disclose some thing to some people, and to other they say we can't say. Either way I believe I have a pretty good shot and this is also my second time applying, the first was just to get my foot in the door as my score was very low and I knew I didn't have much of a shot. I know letter won't be out for a while, but I'm still anxious to check the mail everyday. It's all I can think about it seems...

Exactly, I pretend like it I am not consumed with it but I am, lol I am hoping a 75 will get me in. Like I said before until I have my letter I am not counting my chickens. I have called for, other thing in the past and been told one thing to only call back and be told something different

Do yall know if the amount of times applied has something to do with if you get in or not? I have a profile score of a 75-80 but this is my first time applying. People who have applied more than once, do they get the benefit of the doubt? Just a question that popped in my mind :)

Doubt it. If anything I think the essay would be a tiebreaker

This is my second time applying and between reading past forums and what I've gathered from the ladies in admissions, your chance is not higher either way. It simple goes by that all mighty magic number of your profile score and the cutoff score. The only difference was I had to turn in an extra sheet with my application stating what you improved in from last time (HESI score, culm. Gpa, csn gpa, a d or f from 5 years ago, and I think if you graduated?) it was nice to check all of the boxes except the D or F as it didn't apply to me and my profile score improved tremendously.

Anybody know of any nursing school or pre-nursing blogs to take up my time? I'm going stir crazy. I literally feel like a 6 year old at Christmas that thinks she may die before Santa ever makes it.
