charity son spring 2015

So I have finish all my classes and brought my profile score up to a 75. This will be my second time applying. The first time I applied with a profile score of a 60. So hopefully this time my 75 helps me get in. I was just curious to know other peoples profile scores. I can't wait to submit my application in August!

The Littman Cardiology S.T.C. It's expensive, I know. But I'm gonna shoot for only buying one for the next 10 years.

I keep flipping between the cardio and the classic lightweight. The thing I like about the cardio is you can use the same bell for Peds and that's where I want to end up. Though I've also heard scopes like to grow legs on nursing school so I was thinking go with the less expensive one for school and upgrade at graduation.

Just looked up the STC you prob won't be able to use it. I think they require a double bell, which would be the cardio 3

Oh, I didn't know they required a specific one. Crap! I may wait until orientation to buy anything then. Just to be sure, you know. I heard the same thing about them walking, but I figure I'll get my name engraved on mine and just be super obnoxious about people borrowing it. lol

I did hear that it's the drs that "borrow" them, so I'm hoping if I keep it in my pocket maybe they won't think to ask me to borrow it. I'm sure that's not practical though.

Yea, most programs require the double bell because it's easier to teach/learn with. I would definitely wait until we get some sort of guideline before making a purchase

When I did the LPN program, they required us to have a stethoscope with a bell and diaphragm; one can spend anywhere from $25 to $200+.

Ok, i think i have suppressed my excitement and anxiety pretty well so far.

Mail man has been and gone today, NO letter. i am suppose to be working

my statistics homework, but nope i am on All nurses. at least i have completed

Micro homework. This is so exciting and yet i don't want to get my hopes up too high.

My profile score is a 75 which seems to be the average, i just hope it is enough to make

it in for the spring.

It's making me crazy! Trying not to think about it but I just wanna know.

I called Charity at 11.30am, the lady that answered the phone said that the profile cut off score was 75, but letters would not be sent out until mid October. Lets hope they do in fact come earlier. All the best to every one.

Oh man. That's great news ... If I calculated my score right.

I hope they send them put sooner as we'll! All this waiting is getting to me! Lol

So i would presume that if you have a 75 or above then you are in. Obviously i won't rest in that until i have my acceptance letter in hand.
