Charity SON Spring 2014

U.S.A. Louisiana

Hi! I noticed that there were a few people around the forums that were going to apply to Charity for spring of 2014. I was wondering if Charity would accept a HESI score that I took for LSU? LSU was my first choice and now it's Charity. I still plan on getting a BSN, but I'd like to get working as soon as possible. Any advice on the HESI score? I plan on giving them a call, but I'm not exactly sure who I should speak with---or if I can get anyone on the phone.

Can you believe that way back in the dark ages when I went to CHSN, tuition was free? Yes, free!

I am going on Monday. I can't wait. Et90, maybe you could call the school and ask. It seems like you should have already gotten something.

If we already had the HepB shot as a child, do we need to get the series again?

hey guys did all of you have your hepatitis B vaccine? I am worried because on the acceptance confirmation sheet it says that you have been verified that it will be complete by December 2013, but the dog on shot takes 6 months to complete

Ok I got my Hepatitis B vaccine and my TB screening done as well, so hype and ready to get all of this stuff done. I am going for my advising session on Monday:yes:

How did you complete your vaccine so fast? Naeema_rnhopeful?

Tracemee I went to my doctor's office and got them done, my insurance paid for them fortunately. The hepatitis b vaccine is given in three series so I wanted to get it started right away.

Naeema_rnhopeful...thanks...I had two of the three in the series back in 2007...I went today they said I only needed one hep vaccine bc u dnt have to start the series over...if that's correct I'm super excited...but she recommended I have a titter drawn in a month to see if my levels are high enough...fingers crossed, I hate shots

I'm really confused about the HepB shot as well. I went and got the first shot in the series and the doctor told me that I really shouldn't need the shots again since I had them as a child. Then I called charity and they said NOT to get any shots until we go to the advising session.

Aaawww I'm not on Facebook:( anyone interested in the app Group me? Its like group chat on your phone

I'm not on facebook either...just disabled my profile last month. I wouldn't mind getting the App you're talking about.

I have also disabled my facebook and would be interested in the app too. The vaccine information is confusing! In one letter we received it says we should start on the Hep vaccine as soon as we can because it is a series? I don't want to lose my spot due to vaccines not being completed!

I'm trying to figure out how we can get this group me going without posting our phone numbers to add each other. I'm sure there's a way
