  1. Hi! I just finished level one. Most of the time I just studied what we went over in class. I also listened to the Tegrity lectures online. However, the teachers do always state "anything in the required reading is testable material". I found that if you mainly focus on the lecture content you will do fine. I ended up with an A in the class and I rarely read the chapters. Charity is a wonderful school. Don't believe all of the horror stories. I agree with the other poster- surround yourself with sweet, positive people. Good luck to all of you!
  2. I'm wondering the same thing about the ebooks. I like regular books....guess i'm just old fashioned!
  3. Where I go to school, it wouldn't really matter. A and P I covers muscular, skeletal, nervous, and A and P II covers cardiac, endocrine, etc. I don't think I really use anything that I learned in A and P I in the second course and neither one is harder than the other.
  4. Hey Jamie! I am going to e-mail you so you can give me the link!!! :)
  5. I'm not on facebook either...just disabled my profile last month. I wouldn't mind getting the App you're talking about.
  6. I'm really confused about the HepB shot as well. I went and got the first shot in the series and the doctor told me that I really shouldn't need the shots again since I had them as a child. Then I called charity and they said NOT to get any shots until we go to the advising session.
  7. I am going on Monday. I can't wait. Et90, maybe you could call the school and ask. It seems like you should have already gotten something. If we already had the HepB shot as a child, do we need to get the series again?
  8. Budderflize... I too am a mom of 2. I live in Slidell. Maybe we can carpool sometimes to save gas money!
  9. I think mine was an 80.
  10. Congrats!!! Can't wait to meet everyone! :)
  11. Just checked my mail....got my letter! Ahhhhh I'm so excited!
  12. Thank you Isabelle49! Any advice for us?
  13. Hi sdesselle! Congratulations on the baby!!! From what I understand, the classes in Nursing I are Monday-Thursday for about half of the day. You can definitely do it... I got through my special education degree at Southeastern pregnant and then with a baby for 2 years. I am now doing it again with a ten year old and very active 3 year old. LOL! Also, you will have the summer off to spend with your baby :)
  14. Teaching in the public school setting is the same way! It really is disgusting!
  15. Does anyone know what the uniforms look like? I can't find them anywhere online? Thanks :)
