Anyone on the northshore applying? Would love to find a group to study/carpool with after we get in!
So I called to find out what happened with my application and I was told a letter was mailed to me over a week ago...however nothing in the mail. I'm scheduled to meet with someone idek about what to be honest. Don't even know if got in the program lol. The lady never said...SO CONFUSED!!! But I guess it's not bad news so I'll take it. I promise this kinda stuff only happens to me smh
Hello Shawnney, seems like you have everything under way. However, I did get my CPR renewed through one of the instructors at DCC. You have to physically go there to get that taken care of. Good luck.
I went to orientation yesterday, Monday morning. The meeting lasted 1 hour 15 minutes. Its a lot of information. The administrators went over everything and answered every question. It was a large group - of course I was the oldest in the bunch.I already turned in my packet for the LSBN. Didn't want to wait. Wanted to get that turned in right away. Working on Immunizations, titers, CPR, and TB now. Getting to a CPR class is going to be the hardest. Of course no one at DCC EMS program regarding a CPR class has ever called me back -- no surprise there.
I parked in a lot around the corner and paid $3 but that was at 8:30 in the morning and had a few spots.
I'll be sending an e-mail out to my advisor on the 8th to set up an appointment for advising. That's it for me. How is everyone else doing? Any tips?
Anyone know if there insurance company will pay to have the titers done? I had my mom call BCBS and they will pay for them as long as they are part of an occupational/school related requirement. Hoping the doctor can code them under my physical and get them paid for.
My insurance covers it! But my primary care doesn't give shots! So now I'm trying to find a doctor!
