Anyone on the northshore applying? Would love to find a group to study/carpool with after we get in!
Do you know if you get the ebooks if you can view them on multiple devices? Like if you have a tablet and a lap top can you use it on both? Or is it something that you can download only to one thing? Sorry for all the questions. Just trying to figure out how it works. Thanks for the help.
Regarding the question about parking at LSU....
The parking spots that are to be auctioned are at CSN. To be honest, I never even heard of a sign-up last semester for the "auction".
There is a separate garage owned by LSU with a covered walkway to Charity. You'll have to call LSU to see when you can purchase one of these spots but I would do it ASAP as the spots go fast. This semester they were $125 but was absolutely worth it, especially being that my clincals were at University (I've parked in the garage every day T-F!) and just for the general peace of mind.
Congrats to you all on your upcoming semester!

Ebooks are mandatory but they are less expensive than what I have been able to find even buying used. I have always been the kind of person who likes to make notes in my books so I am not sure how I am going to like that aspect of them. I watched a tutorial of pageburst and it seems like it is pretty easy to navigate. I am torn on the tablet vs laptop issue when in comes to ebooks. If I were to take notes within the ebooks like it is set up I would rather have my laptop than tablet. Others have also talked about the fact that with their laptops they are able to have multiple things running so they can have their drug guide, webpage for research and word open when working on careplans. Tablet would be easier to carry around though.
If anyone finds actual books for a great deal let me know b/c the ebooks last year were about $450 YIKES!! I haven't been able to find a way to get "actual" books for anywhere near this price.
