Hey, just wanted to create this forum for people that are going to apply to Charity for Fall 2019. That's when I feel I will be ready to apply! I'm still working on my prereqs!

I got a response from Ms. Domino just saying they were still processing. I specifically wrote that I hadn't received the curtesy email.

On the other hand, I took the Kaplan today and did even better than I did on the HESI, should I need to re-apply. The science portion was a little more specific than the HESI and the reading/writing a little quirkier but overall not a bad exam by any means.
Hey!
Hopefully I don't have to- but I'm taking the Kaplan on Tuesday. I'm planning to study today and tomorrow- did you notice if it was just Anatomy and Physiology or did it also have like basic biology questions?
Just trying to figure out what I should focus on.
Hope your having a good weekend despite the suspense lol ?

It was predominately A&P, in fact I don't remember seeing any basic bio. For context, when you get your results it breaks down the questions by topic. My results list topics included: cardiovascular system, fluid and electrolytes, gastrointestinal, hematological, homeostasis, immune system, neurology, renal system, respiratory system, sensory. There were anywhere from 1-4 questions per topic. The questions weren't hard but you need a general working knowledge of the topics. If I were taking it over, I'd watch some crash course a&p videos on youtube on the body systems. If you've taken your a&ps already (and remember most of the basics) you should be ok. From what I remember I had a couple of questions on intracellular and extracellular fluid, and things along the lines of where does most of absorption take place in the GI tract. So, not in depth but covered a lot.
You didn't ask but a tip on the reading/writing segments. Don't overthink them. The passages that you're supposed to correct are really poorly written to begin with so just answer the questions as you think best. I spent way more time than I needed on them and ended up getting all but 1 right.
