Hey, just wanted to create this forum for people that are going to apply to Charity for Fall 2019. That's when I feel I will be ready to apply! I'm still working on my prereqs!

If I were betting, maybe it's because this year they adjusted the application process with the exam switching and maybe they considered the last HESI batch differently. I've heard from my professors that Charity didn't feel the applicants were adequately prepared for the program and too many were failing out and that's why they made the switch.

I submitted mine the very last day. It seems like there is no rhyme or reason (except to drive us mad) ?

That's what I heard too. One of the reasons they switched to the Kaplan was because it tested students on Critical Thinking, which is a skill needed for nursing. From what I gathered, they have been accepting an overabundance of students who can't get past the first semester, and they are hoping that by requiring a different type of entrance exam and only allowing applicants to take it once they will cut down on the students who aren't qualified.
