Charity Class starting in Spring 2010

Hi everyone!

I am starting in January of 2010 and was wondering how many of you guys are joining me!!?? I am currently about to send in my medical forms and I am waiting to receive a letter about orientation! Isn't it in October? Can't wait to start in January!

Thanks for the responses. According to the information sheet my profile score is 80 w/o the TEAS. The TEAS will give me another 10-20 points depending on my score. I was trying to assess my chances of getting accepted with a profile score of 90-100.

I can't speak for the school but I'd say your chances are pretty darn good! My ACT was too long ago so my score was based on the 100 pt. scale and I got in with a 95. I just finished a class where another student got in w/a 70 on the same scale.

I just got accepted to the Jan 2012 class at Charity and want to buy my stethoscope while I still have some free cash. I'm just curious if there are any restrictions concerning color or brand or anything else I haven't thought of. Thanks in advance.

No restrictions we were made aware off. A cheapo model will do you but will make you crazy. I've got a Littman SE but am probably gonna trade up for a cardio model b/cuz you can hear so much better. You might go to one of the uniform stores and try several different models so you can compare. Oh, and do know that the length of them vary. Mine is 22-inches and wish it were 27 inches.

Yeah, I wasn't gonna go cheap for something I will have to use day in and day out for years to come. I was wondering because I'm looking into the master cardio and dont want to drop close to 200 on something Charity wont allow me to use. Thanks!
