Change of interview location for a nurse on packet 3 working currently in saudi...

Hi...i have this situation to share..I am currently employed here in saudi arabia for two months now, this month my lawyer told me that the NVC just send them my packet 3 and that they are already awaiting for my ds230..My representaive asked me where would I prefer to have my interview so they could change the location of my future interview,they asked if me to let them know asap....here in saudi or in the philippines where I originally came from. Does anyone here who's in the same boat as mine?please advice...and if the interview will be done here would there be no problem?...

Did you ever receive notification that the original DS-230 was approved, this is what I am asking you.

It is hard to tell from this letter as it looks like one that just had the dates filled in by computer and is quite generic.

I would ask the attorney if you ever had approval on the first DS-230 in the first place.

Not sure how you have the same petitioner but not the same agency that was mentioned earlier as most will not just let you stay with the facility without them being involved.

This is bad and sad. Hopefully, if ever they submit your Ds-230 that they do everything right the first time around.

Majority of the ones you are reading here are just asking for updating of any docs that has expired so closing out their cases are much faster compared to someone who is being asked for the DS-230 form for the first time. There are even instances that the NVC ask for a new fee if the case has been deemed inactive for a certain time (usually 1 year of no activity or communication) to them.

You do not have approval on the DS-230 and one was never submitted until the past few weeks.

Next issue then for you would be if you had had it submitted when it should have been and then you just left for Saudi, what would you be doing if a visa was available? Breaking a contract there? But would not worry about it as you are going to have more than enough time to get the contract completed there.

These are issues that you need to take up with the employer as well as the attorney. And do hope for you that the administration does not change at that facility, or they could be cancelling your petition and that would require you to start from the beginning with a new employer.

This probably was something that you should have done quite sometime ago to begin with, no one else would remain with someone for this time and not see things moving foreward at all, like in your case.
