Hi everyone! I recently applied to Chamberlain University (Irving campus) and took my second attempt for the HESI exam last Saturday. I needed at least a 73% and I got an overall score of 70%. My GPA is a 2.87. What are my chances of getting in. I'm so nervous and have been stressing about it way too much.

Awesome! Which location are you trying to get in? I think with your scores you'll be just fine. I got in the online program but I'm still not OK with the cost. $50k is a lot.

I am applying to the Tysons Corner location in VA. Look into scholarships on fastweb and Chamberlain's website. Go onto the Health Professions Scholarship program website and click on Nursing Corp. If you apply for that scholarship and get accepted you can receive a full tuition scholarship

Shut up! I thought about that campus I'm in Annapolis. We have to talk. Have you visited the campus yet?
Do you know anyone that goes there? I've scoured their website for scholarships only 1 or 2 apply to me. I've been on the Nursing Corps email list for the past 10 years... LOL Just waiting on the right time to pull the trigger. They want everything including your first born and I don't want to commit to a hospital for the 2-3 years. I'm supposed to start on 10/30.

I really don't know anyone that goes there. Yeah, I can understand that bedside care is rough right now considering the shortage. Most nurses are going back for more education or going to the outpatient clinics for work. You start where on 10/30?

Honestly, I don't know when the application opens up but the deadline is May 4. That is alot and apply for the political scholarships. There seems to be alot of money out here to apply for, just have to research it.
