Chamberlain Sacramento Fall 2018

Hey everyone,

I applied to the Sacramento Chamberlain Fall 2018 program. I did not see any other forums for this particular start date, so I wanted to start one. I just finished my Hesi attempt number two, and now I'm just waiting for the month to be over to hear some good news. I wish us all good luck!

Hello! I am taking my first HESI tomorrow am and the second next Tuesday. I have mainly been studying the pocket prep app and scoring in the 90's every time with all the subjects. Is the test similar to the pocket prep? Do you think I will be well prepared for the test? I am nervous! Congrats on all those who got accepted!!

The test is slightly similar to the pocketprep app in terms of how simple some of the questions will be . I wanna say that none of the vocabulary terms from the pocket peep app were on the actual HESI

Hi everyone! Congratulations to those who have gotten accepted either here or elsewhere, and best of luck to those who didn't get accepted yet. I am new here and hope to get accepted to the Fall 2018 program as well. I just took the Hesi during the last 2 weeks of May and will be hearing if I get accepted or not during June 19-22. My last name starts with T, so I will probably be hearing from them on the last day. I'm soooooo nervous! Anyone else expecting to hear from them during June 19-22? We can all be moral support for each other during this nail-biting time hehe :)

Hi guys,

Of those of you that got accepted, did anyone have a GPA under 3.0?

The lady told me Sacramento campus was so competitive and she highly recommend I get my GPA to 3.0 I'm at a 2.86, my classes are from back in 2004, I took psychology and got an A last semester. I really don't want to have to take 13 units at CC to raise it to a 3.0 if possible.

Hey there,

I did have 3.3 overall GPA,3.7 for the last 60 units, and I did not get accepted. They told me my HESI score was competitive, but that there were applicants that scored just as well, and had better GPA's. Since it is a for profit school, and they do not get funding based on students they accept, they pick the top of the top of the top only here in Sac since it's only 30 people they accept. Maybe look into the Nevada or Arizona campuses- they have more spaces and are therefore, not as competitive.
