I just got accepted to the new Sacramento campus for May 2, anyone else attending for the same start date?
Hey Lorx,
I took all of my pre requisites at Sierra. The classes I took that transferred over were English 1a, 1c, Math D, Math 13, Comm 3, Bio 4, 5, 6, Chem 2A, Nutrition 10 (Allowed me to test out of one nutrition course they require), Human Dev. 1, Sociology 1, Philosophy 2 and 13 ( Highly recommend these because they saved me having to pay for the two philosophy courses Chamberlain requires=expensive), Psychology 100, Political Science 1.
Also take Humanities 1 and History 17a and/or 17b.
I had my A.S in Bio and Natural science, so I had taken additional electives courses to meet the unit requirements. If you are planning on going to Chamberlain, for additional electives make sure its Philosophy or Humanities, because they require specific electives for unit requirements, where as other schools will take others like Art and Foreign languages. Good luck. My Chamberlain tuition was cut in half by taking all of those courses at Sierra and I only had to complete Nursing courses and not electives like other students did.
Hello there! Do you know if Philosophy Symbolic Logic (Phil 2303) or Introduction to Philosophy (Phil 2301) the same as Phil-347N Critical Reasoning at Chamberlain? I really want to take my philosophy courses at my community college, which I start school in two weeks. I plan to apply at Chamberlain for Spring 2018 and these are the only class I am not sure about.

nurse2b20 when did you get your acceptance? How long did it take for your transfer credits to be evaluated? I applied a few weeks ago, took the HESI a couple weeks ago, and my official transcripts just got there yesterday. Just wanting to know how long the process typically takes. I have a 3.5 GPA and scored a 94% on the HESI.

And to add, tuition varies from person to person. Maximum tuition would be of 80K for entire program. Best to try to find any aid or scholarships to help pay and especially if you haven't already, make sure to complete as many prerequisites at community colleges asap to transfer since it is cheaper that way and will save you money!
