I just got accepted to the new Sacramento campus for May 2, anyone else attending for the same start date?

My statistics transferred, I haven't heard of anyone that had previously taken critical thinking and ethics and tried to transfer them, I am pretty sure that they would transfer though, they take the course description of the class you took and match it to theirs and if it is the same class they take it. They are very good about accepting transfer credits. The Nutrition class is actually a nursing class at chamberlain so that class will not transfer from a regular gen ed nutrition

I didn't study the HESI and still got an 80. If I were to do it over, I would study MATH, especially the household conversions (pint to liters, ounces to cups) things like that. Also, you only have to have a 75 average on Vocabulary, grammar, math and reading comprehension. All the other parts of the test are to gage where you are, but are not taken into account for your 75 average for acceptance into the school/program. I don't think it's necessary to buy a book when you can get free help online. Good LUck!

Thanks for letting me know, again I really appreciate it! :up: One more question.. since you transferred over Statistics, does this mean you will not have to take any more Math classes at Chamberlain for the rest of your program?? Math is my weakest subject, which is why I ask... just a little nervous

Hello,

I just applied to Chamberlain BSN 3 year program. I have a bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, with a very weak background in Science. Do you think I will have a problem with passing the HESI A2 with a passing score? I am a little intimidated with the BIO, AP and CHEM sections on the test. Please let me know if you have a similar experience. Thanks.

There are two actual math classes in the pre reqs, stats and college algebra I believe. I had both done already

They do not count your science scores from the HESI towards admission if you haven't taken them yet. If you have they just want to see that you did well on those sections

What does your average day and the whole week look like? If you could please give me an explanation i need to figure out about my job hours as i have been offered a part-time job to accommodate my desirefor schooland really dont want to miss it .

Hi there! I was wondering what you think about the instructors? I have seen so many bad reviews for Chamberlain school, but I am curious about the Sac campus because I'm looking to attend in January. Are you going to have to find your own clinical preceptors or do they do it for you? Did you take all the normal prerequisites? If so, are you basically starting on year two?

hey everyone! Anyone willing to share a little insight into the tuition cost? If you have prior degree do you know if it still takes 3 years? Thank you!

I think if your prior degree had the same nursing prerequisites such as for nursing and general edu, you should be able to have them transfer. Transferring as many credits is good so it will decrease the cost and you can finish earlier than three years. My advisor told me it would be about $80,000 for three years, no transfer credits. But price all depends and differs with each individual. If you have transfer credits, it should be lower than that cost.
