Nursing Students Chamberlain College

Published

Hello everyone,

i just wanted to create a thread for those that are planning on attending the Pearland Campus. I was recently accepted and wanted to know who would be in my classes with me. I just met with the advising department yesterday and got my plan. It shows that it will take me exactly 2 years til I am complete with the program. Hopefully some of you chime in.

So glad to hear you on your way to becoming an extraordinary nurse. Hows your session going at this point?

To Chime in on this Chamberlain Nurses have great opportunities as other nursing students upon graduation for employment whoever told you that must of never went to chamberlain. I have several friends that has graduated from here and all had jobs before graduation!! Believe none of what your hear and half of what you see!!!

Got a call today saying I've been accepted in to program. It feels so unreal right now after getting rejected by 3 other schools earlier this month. I'm sooo happy. Process was 2 weeks long for me

So happy for you im sure you will enjoy this program!!!!! I'm set to graduate May 11th if all goes well

Specializes in Women’s health and Pediatrics.

thank you so much. im already stressing and i haven't started yet lol

Hi Wallacevellonpvamu, please I would like to clarify a lot of things from you. I've read a lot of negative comments about Chamberlain and I'm skeptical in submitting my application. I had my first degree in Biology from a college out US and I left college about 23 years ago.

Hello, I have an interview on Thursday for the Pearland campus. Can someone tell me what goes on during the interview. And also do I need to dress up in business clothing?

How did you like the program?

Are you still on track to graduate this summer?

Was is worth the money?

Hi! How was the placement exam? I'm taking one too see if I can test out of A&P and I'm not sure how to go about studying for it.

Hello,

I’m thinking of applying Chamberlian. How was your experience and after graduated?

I would be greatly appreciated for any advices or suggestions.

thank you.

@ying24 I have 4 more specialities plus my capstone then I'll be done (March 2021). I actually really enjoy the Pearland location everyone is very helpful and nice. Because of COVID we're having to do online classes/clinical, it's pretty annoying, but nothing can be done about that. Do you have any specific questions?

Good Morning,

Thank you so much for your response. I live closer to Pearland and wondering what the differences between Houston and Pearland locations. I am glad to hear that you enjoy the school:) I have heard good things about school.

Can you get loan after have been awarded from financial aid?

How was your interview with the school?

How is the class ratio? How many people in your class?

Thank you so much.

Unfortunately I'm not sure what they difference are. Yes, you can get a loan after you have been given financial aid. That's what I have to do. The interview was more relaxed than I thought it would be. It really was just conversation with an admission representative. The class ratio for my cohort is about 1:27 but I believe it is getting larger.
