Chamberlain College of Nursing

Published

Hi everyone. After snooping around for months, I finally decided to make my own account. Lol :)

I was wondering if anyone who is a current student or graduated from Chamberlain can tell me about their experience with the school. I was accepted into the Phoenix, AZ location few months ago and already experiencing problems with them. My student advisor has changed multiple times. I have not received my class schedule even though classes start September 2. Just want to know about your experience and if this school is REALLY worth the expensive tuition.

Thank in advanced!

I have actually heard nothing but bad things about Chamberlain. I am not sure why. I suppose it is looked at as the "mcDonalds of nursing schools". I have asked several nurses and they told me that Chamberlan is looked down upon and they are mostly out to make a profit so they will take anyone.

I am a CCN grad. While the school does have some issues (and I think that there are probably some issues at all schools), the hospitals in the area (Phoenix) love Chamberlain students and grads. The school does offer a good education despite its "reputation". The Phoenix campus is growing and since I graduated last year, have put in a brand new sim lab and area dedicated for CCN students.

As for the schedule, yes they seem to take forever to give you your schedule, which was a pet peeve of mine. I guess just keep hounding them. Good luck to you in the program :-)

Sorry for responding a few months later. I am not in my second session at Chamberlain. I was wondering if you have any studying advices for NUR 222, Health & Wellness? TIA! :)
