Nursing Students Chamberlain College

Published

Has anyone attended or is currently attending Chamberlain College of Nursing in Atlanta? If so, how is it? Any info would be greatly appreciated. I am currently attending a technical college and have done all of my pre requisites except for the sciences. My gpa is 3.40. I just found out about this school and I am very interested... thanks.

Hey I cant wait to meet everyone on Friday at NSO : )!!!!

Sorry to hear this. Maybe you can speak with student services for splitting it up into payment arrangement. You should try it, they are working with me.

Hey ivy just sent you a pm but your inbox is full.

omg i have to pay like $720 out of pocket for school and I cant get approved for no loan!!! :(

Did you maxed up on your financial aid? Try and apply for the chamberlain student loan which is up to 20,000. Thats my last resort for summer. Now am paying out of pocket and setting up a payment arrangement as well.

@nursegos I can't send you my pm until space is cleared in your inbox.

Does anyone know how long it takes to receive your books if you order thru the school bookstore?

It's way cheaper to order them on Amazon! I got Health Promotion book (Nur 222) for $47

Yea financial aid is all maxed out for this semester. I still owe $712.50 out of pocket. I tried sallie Mae but I can't get approved on my own. It's like a lack of credit for me. And I can't get anyone to co sign with me. Where do you apply for the loan thru chamberlain at? How does the monthly payment thing work? You pay a certain amount every month until the end of this semester?

Can ANYONE give me some tips/advice on Chemistry? I am SO nervous aboout taking this course-at an accelerated pace nonetheless. Anyone who took it at Chamberlain and could give me any pointers would be greatly appreciated!!! Hope to see some of you today from 3-7!

Hey everyone!

I will be attending chamberlain in the summer, and just wanted to get a little insight on what my schedule is going to be like. What days a week do you go to school? How many hours a day? Mornings, evenings, nights? Do you have the option to go at night or in the evening? When I ask, I'm asking the core nursing curriculum not gen Ed classes.

Thanks so much!

All you need to do is to send in two letters of denial to the student services adviser and they will help u with the school loans.

looks like is thrice a week or twice depends on the clinical day and how many credit you taking.

Hey guys! New to this thread. I hope everyone is having a great new year so far. :)

Im a current georgia state student and I recently applied to Chamberlain. I was actually already accepted and started gsu's nursing program in spring 2011 but I couldnt continue for a couple reasons and now I am re-applying back to nursing school. Im taking the HESI on tuesday 1/8. I scored a 95 on the TEAS so hopefully I do well on the hesi too. Does anyone know if Precalculus (Math 1113 at GSU) will transfer to cover College Algebra in chamberlain's curriculum? I took a math placement exam and I did so well I was eligible to take calc 2, but i just stuck with trig/pre-cal and it's higher up than college algebra. But I think an admissions rep at Chamberlain told me it might not transfer because its a different type of math. But that would suck for me to have to take it when I obviously know it in depth as per my placement exam. Can anyone ask for me perhaps? And anyone who went to gsu, what classes transferred for you? I will also hopefully transfer the nursing classes that I did complete. Thank you so much! And good luck with nursing school guys! You will do great. But beware of pharmacology, that was the hardest class I ever took. uggghhh.

Thanks. What about evening/night options? My advisor isn't much help:/
