Chamberlain College of Nursing in Atlanta, GA

Published

Has anyone attended or is currently attending Chamberlain College of Nursing in Atlanta? If so, how is it? Any info would be greatly appreciated. I am currently attending a technical college and have done all of my pre requisites except for the sciences. My gpa is 3.40. I just found out about this school and I am very interested... thanks.

@Klouis That's good!! When do you plan on attending ??

And did you apply to any other schools?

@Mspsychology I plan on attending this fall semester which begins Sept. 1st. Do you plan on applying to Chamberlain? I didn't apply to any other schools, but I did think of applying to Brenau and GGC. However, I didn't end up applying there, because I missed the GGC fall deadline due to still taking classes that I needed before applying and the same applies to Brenau. Plus, I really didn't want to sit out a whole semester just to wait and apply, so Chamberlain was my next bet. :D

@Klouis Yes I plan to apply once I finish the rest of my pre reqs & my first degree in Psychology. My undergrad Gpa is sadly at a 2.8 right now, I plan to get all A's in my pre reqs to bring it up by the time I apply next year.

@Mspsychology that's good I wish you the best of luck in your studies. If you ever have questions about the admission process or anything feel free to ask.

Hi AshBrock1091 I'm at Chamberlain now, just finished NR 281 (pathophys) and NR 101. Do you recommend taking NR 222 online? I hear there are a ton of chapters to read. Is it better to go to a classroom setting? Thanks for your advice!

Do anyone know if fundamentals part two is offer every session

It's offered every other session.

Specializes in correction.

HEy Teah817,student services has told me that usually not but it depends on how many students fail it ..if they will offer it the following session

It's offered every other session...I failed it in the March session.:arghh:

Hi all I am currently thinking about Chamberlain here in Atlanta but I was wondering if the class that recently graduated still posts on here. The tread is so long Idk when the last post was lol please let me know anything you can thanks all.

Hi, everyone, it has been a long time since I posted on here!

Do you have specific questions? I've been at Chamberlain for a year, and I am starting my specialty classes in September (finally a senior!!!). I'm happy to answer any of your questions. Our 1st graduating class was of 8 people. So far, six people have taken the NCLEX and all have passed. One person actually already got a job offer! Let me know if you have any questions, that I may be able to answer for you :)

I just have a question Kathylyn920,

You said graduating class of 8!? Is that because people failed and or dropped out? I am going to the nursing session on Sept 13. I was told all my credits transfer from the school I am currently at because it is "part" of Devry. How are you enjoying your classes? Do they offer some online as well as in class? Thank you!
