Hmmm that's kind of strange are you sure she's not on vacation? Or maybe she doesn't work there anymore. I know they are usually good about getting back to you right away when you call with questions. Maybe you should call and let someone know you have been unable to reach her and ask if someone else can assist you. Think positive I know it's busy over there :)

Well met with financial aid and everything seems ok...still going to look into some scholarships if possible....New Student Orientation is October 13th...it would be nice to meet some of you there :) LOL that didn't sound creepy did it LOL :)

If you don't mind sharing, what type of financial aid information did they give you? Do they offer scholarships or do you have to find your own? I'm nervous about paying for this tuition. I don't want my financial freedom to end before it even begins lol. Thanks in advance.

They told me about the grants and loans I qualify for and it still left about 3000 a year I would have to pay out of pocket which isn't too bad...of course I'd rather not have to worry about making payments while in school but I'm going to have to budget and work it out. They do offer some scholarships and the info for that is on the website under Financial Aid. I think I will try to apply for some but I don't know what any of the deadlines are. I am also going to try to find some outside scholarships and I don't care how big or small they are I'm going to apply because every little bit counts.

I totally understand though it is expensive and I even thought about going to ITT Tech because it's cheaper (only ADN - not regionally accredited) but I want to make sure I can be proud of where I graduated plus Chamberlain is closer to my job. I'm just going to try to save as much as I can before school starts, and buy used books and use my tax refund to pay tuition. Anything I can to get school paid for because I can't afford to keep doing what I'm doing.

Someone at my job told me this was going to be my sacrifice...time from my children, long hours working and studying, and paying this money...but I know it will all be worth it!! :)

I got the call I've been waiting for. I was accepted for the October start at the Chicago campus!!!!! I am so happy that I will finish in 2 and a half years. I have 19 credits that will transfer and that knocks off a semester. Now I just have to wait for the next call to tell me what to do next.

Congrats Loveangel 1316 :)

If you don't mind could you please tell me your GPA and your score of HEIS? Thank you.

Hello,

Is anyone still waiting for a call from their adviser? I applied for the Fall Semester at Addison and I still haven't heard from them. I'm getting worried because my GPA barely pass the requirement but my HESI test was ok. :(

Hi Peanutbutter,

I applied a week and a half ago. Just like you I'm still waiting for a call. I have a good GPA and Hesi score. This week I started the Fall semester over my Community College and most likely I'll just stay there for another term. Good luck!!!:)

Your scores are very similar to mine. I have a 3.0 gpa and I scored an 88% on the Hesi and I got accepted. I'm at the Chicago campus. I think you have a great chance.
