Chamberlain BSN 2023 - Sacramento

Published

Hi, I do not see a topic for future applicants of the BSN Program at Chamberlain starting January 2023. Just wanted to know where everyone is at in the application process. For those not applying to the Sacramento location, any input/stats/conversation would still be helpful!

I think $98,000 for Sacramento and if you have some classes done at community College it will help a lot. Depending how many credits is transferable.

Does anyone know what this means? I’ve done everything and now just waiting to see what’s next (submitted all documents and taken HESI).  This was the email I received from my admissions person when I asked what was next.

“Yes,  I submitted your case to the registrar now we are just waiting on them.”

I just wish I knew how long this step takes and what to expect. I haven’t met with anyone yet to talk about what prerequisites will transfer either…

I’ve left multiple messages and sent emails and am getting kinda frustrated with the lack of communication.

I basically have the same situation. She told me that about the registrar and also they are taking care of the November start before they go ahead with the January start. But yes I am frustrated as well.

Got an email today saying the January cohort is full and asked if I wanted my file to be moved to the May cohort for anyone who hasn’t got an acceptance yet ?

Got the same email. I am really mad about it. I've been in the process since May ? . I was patient with their terrible communication too just for them to push back my file and tell me the cohort is full.

Do you mind saying what your stats were? I got 86.5% on the HESI and I know they say 87% is competitive… I knew I wasn’t in a horrible spot but also not super confident either. I just really wish the communication was better as to where the application process is per each person or how it works. I requested a time slot from the email to talk to my admissions representative so I can clarify some things for the future.

I still don't know. I called twice today and they said my advisor was busy in a call and in the afternoon she was in a meeting.

Communication is really sucks. I felt the same way and everyone else. I heard a lot of students with low GPA and HESI got into Irwindale campus. I had a meeting with admission advisor today to set up my Complio for Drug, background, and fingerprint and I ask her if the cohort for January is already full and she answer "Yes". She also mentioned they doing sorting people for wait list just in case someone giving up thier seat in the program. I wish you guys Goodluck and don't lose hope.

Im absolutely confused at this point. Someone here got in with a 76% on HESI but I wasn't able to ask if she got into Sacramento.

I doubt it though. Because they let you retake your HESI even your score is 80+. I know Sacramento Campus is very competitive compare to Irwindale campus. Based of what I heard people that get into Chamberlain with that HESI score probably outside state.
