Hi, first time posting here, wanted to talk to any students currently in the LVN program at Chaffey College. I really just wanted to get some first hand info from a student who can give some insight. First of all, I'm not in the LVN program yet but plan to apply in October. Does anyone know what Im looking at as far as a time commitment during the week as far as classes and clinicals? 3 days a week? 4 days? The only reason its such a concern is because I have 4 children under the age of 5 and am trying to figure out if this is even an option for me right now considering the children are all so small. I have an appt to talk with a counceler next week but I really wanted to talk with a student. Thanks in advance!
Sorry, posted in the wrong section!

Just got accepted (abt. 2 days after your original post). Can't tell you about the whole program, but I've got clinicals on Wednesdays 7 a.m. - 7 p.m., Mondays, Tuesdays & Thursdays are between 4 & 8 hours a day (start time is 8:00 to 9:00 depending), plus skills lab on Fridays. That'd be for 1st semester, and I'm guessing 2nd semester is likely to be just as busy. My understanding is that by 3rd semester things lighten up a bit, but not by much, and I believe 3rd semester clinicals are from 3-11 p.m. couple of days a week.
