Chaffey College ADN program in Spring 2019

Hello everyone,

i am applying for Spring 2019. I decide to create a new board because I did not found one yet. I just want to know how the ADN program works and people who are applying. Just update and keep in touch information on the thread. Good luck everyone who is applied.

What's the deadline to accept your spot for the program and when's the orientation and teas dates.. if you don't mind answering? I also applied to Valley and from previous applicants, I've read that they don't get acceptance letters until Nov..

Deadline to accept spot isn't for another 2 weeks, Teas date is 3 weeks out, & orientation is a little less than a month away. So there's still time!

I got my alternate letter today! Hopefully I make it in!

are you completed all classes including math401? were you taking all those classes at chaffey? I hope you are in. Focus on the teas test, alternate will consider on the test result, I read it from the previous student cohort.

Yes I had everything completed, even the math 401. And I've already completed my TEAS

yeah for sure. So, I think applicants need to be completed to get accepted. Congratulations for everyone.

Thank you! Yeah I went to an info session awhile back and the nursing director said that since there are so many applicants, they usually only pull from the applications that have everything completed.

Yes what @aliciaav96 is saying is correct. Some people think that Everyone who applies is included in the lottery but this isn't correct. The nursing director & my counselor told me that Only those who have every class on the application completed will be put in the lottery. The general ed courses are required for an associates degree at Chaffey & you Must qualify for an associates degree to sit for the NCLEX which is why they Only chose applicants that have everything done. For anyone who's serious about getting into Chaffey make sure you have Math 401 & all your GE classes on the application completed! Good luck guys. I know how stressful & nerve wracking the process is. Keep pressing on & whatever you guys do Don't give up!
