Chaffey ADN Fall 2023 Application

Published

Anyone else applying for Spring 2024? So nervous about my points as it's in the mid 40s! And they said they get about 500 applicants per period ?

Yeah for what it's worth my last name starts with A so maybe they're just going down the line

I believe they all sent out acceptance and alternates email today.. my classmates already accepted the offer. I believe those who didn't get an email are most likely denied.

I feel you, I know how frustrating that must feel, but don't give up! If you can, have you applied to multiple ADN programs or just Chaffey? Know that people who were accepted will give up their spot due to being selected elsewhere, so getting an alternate spot is great and hopeful! I'm wishing you the best, I hope you get in for Spring 2024! *crosses fingers*

Thanks for your positivity ? yeah I've been to counseling appointments with rcc and sbvc but I would have to do a different psych and stats because my gen ED credits I earned at chaffey don't transfer over for certain classes. Currently debating applying for community colleges by the beach or even west coast bc I feel like at this point I'm just wasting time and maybe I could possibly pay off $80k in student loans faster than I'll spend waiting around for chaffey

Do you happen to know how many alternates there are by any chance? Or if anybody has passed on Chaffey's offer? It's gonna kill me showing up to orientation Friday for nothing LOL

I got accepted as an alternate but I haven't gotten any info on how they rank us

I didn't receive any email.. So I'm expecting a denial letter by Wednesday. Good luck to those who got in!

You got a high chance of getting in, I know some applicants will decline the offer. Good luck!

West Coast is a lot more than $80K. I applied to CBU and got in maybe you could look at CBU, Loma Linda, or Azusa Pacific?

ETA: we have really similar stats that's why suggest giving them a shot. And they are non-profit universities.

I'm considering SJVC in Ontario, this is the only school close to me. I can't go far..

Thank you so much!! If you don't mind me asking, how much is CBU tuition if we already took all pre reqs at Chaffey? Some of the west coast nurses at my hospital told me they were able to cut down on prices since they had done pre reqs and TEAS beforehand

I just got accepted so I can probably give you more info after I have some information sessions done. I'm pretty sure it's expensive too but I have a lot of friends who went to CBU and were able to apply and get a lot of scholarships to help with costs. I'm using my GI Bill so that's how I'm affording it. All I know is West Coast projects like $150k for their program which is a lot of money!

don't give up! I'm going to decline my acceptance spot since I will go to another school. I was in your shoes early this year. this is my second time applying to chaffey but got declined since I did not take MATH401. I've came full circle since math401 was the class to help me get extra points in RCC. I wish you the best and hopefully my spot will open up a spot for you in the pool.

2 more days until Chaffey sends out decisions ?

At this point I feel like I'm waiting for a rejection since people already got acceptance emails ?
