Chaffey ADN Fall 2023 Application
My calendar year was 2018 so the ethic studies class wasn't required of me since they just introduced that requirement in 2022. I did take my math 401 last Spring tho ? thankfully it was only 7 weeks! What sucks about chaffey is that they won't take credits for classes in progress, you have to be done with them by the time you apply ?

Chaffey ADN Fall 2023 Application
Thank you so much!! If you don't mind me asking, how much is CBU tuition if we already took all pre reqs at Chaffey? Some of the west coast nurses at my hospital told me they were able to cut down on prices since they had done pre reqs and TEAS beforehand

Chaffey ADN Fall 2023 Application
Do you happen to know how many alternates there are by any chance? Or if anybody has passed on Chaffey's offer? It's gonna kill me showing up to orientation Friday for nothing LOL

Chaffey ADN Fall 2023 Application
Thanks for your positivity ? yeah I've been to counseling appointments with rcc and sbvc but I would have to do a different psych and stats because my gen ED credits I earned at chaffey don't transfer over for certain classes. Currently debating applying for community colleges by the beach or even west coast bc I feel like at this point I'm just wasting time and maybe I could possibly pay off $80k in student loans faster than I'll spend waiting around for chaffey

Chaffey ADN Fall 2023 Application
Posting for other people who may need to gauge points needed in the selection process in the future (although it is pretty variable between semesters). I just got my alternate acceptance letter and have been crying for about an hour now lmao. I just worked so hard for this. Did my CNA here at chaffey in 2019, even applied for the LVN program 2 years ago and decided to go for the RN when I got rejected. I did my time at hospitals and nursing homes throughout COVID, working in the ICU in the thick of it in December 2020. I have almost 7,000 hours of clinical experience as a CNA in the last 4 years, plus overtime I put in at the nursing home and only have 3 points to show for it.. I ended my TEAS with a 83.33% (15 points), ended my phase 2 with 72 points, and still only got an alternate offer. I'm trying to stay positive but I'm mostly just frustrated that I've worked toward this for 5 years and it still seems like it isn't enough. Sorry for my rant, I just really want to give up nursing right now.
