Chabot College Fall 2022

Hi Everyone, 

I am apply to Chabot community college for the Fall 2022, and I was wondering if anyone else is going to. My points us around 78.... Is that score good enough to get in ?

I hope they email a follow-up regarding these numbers and other info that isn't on the FAQ

I think what they will do is take everyone that is in the list and choose 40 or 30 students from there . That is my guess .

I was rejected for not sending the application via pdf format to the email listed on the application checklist.... I looked at the checklist and didn't see this as a requirement, nor can I locate an email. Did anyone email their application in? I mailed mine in.

‘Submit the following materials (not including official transcripts) in one packet to: [email protected] on or before January 31, 2022.’ 

or

‘Your next step is to complete and submit the following documents via email no later than January 31, 2022. Please submit all required documents in one packet.’

this was in their info session handout and in the confirmation page after completing the online application I think..im sorry to hear that

Oh yikes! I can't believe I missed that ??‍♀️Chabot was my top choice until they deferred the program... I'm grateful I got into somewhere else for the fall otherwise this would be more devastating.

I almost mailed in my application too...I contacted the office because they still had the application directions for 2020 on their website which said to mail them.  

I emailed Ms. Telles to ask her to remove my name from the list as I was already accepted elsewhere but I guess she never did.  I just got the email saying that I am #58 whatever that means.

Hey its been a while but they did respond and this is what they said:

-The good is yes, because you were selected as Deferment #1 you would be accepted into our next incoming class which is anticipated fall 2023.  

-Please let us know if you would like to be removed from the list. 

-If anything changes with our nursing program you will be notified. 

-We do not keep a waiting list in our nursing program but have alternates depending on students' acceptance or denial. This year all qualified applicants that were selected are on a deferment list and referred to as provisional acceptances.

So those on the deferment list up to #40 would be automatically admitted for Fall 2023?  Just curious.

Im confident that you do since they take 40 students a year but its best to email them just in case. I tried calling but their office is closed

Maybe? I don't speak on behalf of them but I think they chose students more than 40 since I've seen someone got a #68 here. So im thinking that they already predicted that not a lot of students will wait till next year if they get accepted this term or in Spring. It's kinda long but they kinda answered that in the 5th question in the FAQ list they emailed to us
