CGFNS exam on 13th July

I am taking CGFNS exam on 13th of July. I knew about it only few days ago when one of the CGFNS person called me and confirmed the exam schedule. I finished reviewing the CGFNS official study guide and Kaplan book. Now, I am doing some CD practice tests..my score is around 65-75%. I am worried about the exam,,how much practice score is predictive of passing the actual exam???CGFNS is a paper pencil test,,but quite similar to NCLEX,,how helpful are the NCLEX preparation books for CGFNS? please give me some tips.

It is a weekend, so there is no human in the office to answer the phone.

It is normally posted three to four weeks after the exam, but only pass or not passes. You will have to wait for the actual letter to find out your numerical score.

Where are you trying to look on the website? If there, it will be under your account, and under the services that you have purchased. It will just say pass or not pass. It will not be under an individual post.

When will CGFNS post the result on the website. They are undergoing renovation,,and the phone and online service is interfered..it will resume only on monday. Somebody told me that the result was out thursday evening..does anybody have any idea???Is there any way to get information about it..before monday????I am scared, worried and impatient..about the result. :stone

I am a nurse from Russia. I just took the exam in Houston, on July 13. I was using the following review books - Lippincott's, Saunders, and Incredibly Easy. My scores were about 65-70%. But you need to answer right only 50% to pass. I hope that we will pass. CGFNS posted the results of exam that they held in March. That what came through the search engine in Yahoo - CGFNS- test results

You need to go directly to the CGFNS website and under your account. That is the only place where you will find results. If they are not already up, they should be sometime this week.

Yes, that is what you will see posted if you passed. You will receive the actual numercial score in the mail.

Please read the stickies at the top of the page. The best study guide for CGFNS is the book that they send you. The quesitons are quite different from the NCLEX exam, and I do not recommend the exam...........it adds on too much time, and with the retrogression looming agian, I would not adivse it, you could be looking at a few years before you will be able to come over.

I also suggest that you review some of the posts here about the retrogression to get more information on it.
