CGFNS-CES

Hi everyone!

I'm from Philippines and i've been planning to apply for licensure in New Mexico. One of the requirements is a CES. CGFNS is the credentialing agency that i would want to evaluate my credentials.. I just wanted to know what's the first thing that i must do. Should i register online first at the CGFNS site, fill up and send a CES application form online or thru snail mail, or file a request for academic records to my school and a request for validation of registration at PRC?

I called CGFNS this morning, and after 30 min of being on hold, I was told they are going to have my file reviewed by the manager and told me to call back on wednesday. Should I be worried? It's been 4 months almost since they received all my doc's!

you should inquire why it is taking so long. mine only took less than 2 months.

I called today and spoke to the representative. He said the manager assigned someone to review/work on my file and that they're doing that as we speak. I asked if he could tell me why it's been taking so long, and he said he couldn't. He said Hold on and hung up. I called again in hope of getting a different person on the phone just to see if their stories matched. After waiting for 45 min on the line, I got the same guy. He was very obnoxious and impolite, asked Why I am calling again, that he told me what's up a few minutes ago, and that he isn't going to argue with me. I said I am calling again because he said to hold on and then hung up. He said he didn't say Hold on, I said Yes you did. He said they record all conversations and that he can prove it. I was like Whatever and that I am going to call back tomorrow. This is getting ridiculous!

I just checked my status. and now all my documents (including HS diploma) meet all program requirements. How soon can I expect the report to be issued?

I also just called CGFNS to ask them the same question and didn't really get an answer. What I've been told is that my file went in review on March 9th (2,5 months after they received all my documentation - REALLY?), and to allow 8-10 weeks for report to be issued...I don't think that is true though, because 2 pieces of my documentation Met all program requirements in late January...

My status changed today and the manager told me the FL BON will have the report by tuesday...WOO HOO...I have a question about TOEFL...can I order my score report and send it to FL BON together with marriage license MYSELF?

English result have to go direct from the company you took it with, generally they do not accept it if sent from another source

i changed my name to married name, toefl report still has my maiden name...what do I do about that?

Nothing, just make sure that CGFNS are aware of your maiden name and that a report is coming to them from X company in your maiden name.

hi, i just want to know the process of sending the Request of Academic Records and License Validation ,if im here in the US right now, do i need to attach any documents that ill be sending to my school and to PRC? and Do i need to attach a payment?
