My mom is educated outside U.S. She already passed NCLEX-RN and holds a liscence in New York state.
She submitted an application for endorsment of liscence for VA.
The VA board of nursing told her to submit CES report.
Since she has already went through the credential evaluation verification process for New york state, she is confused why her credentials need to be evaluated again. Is this a misunderstanding? Does she still have to submit a CES report? It costs $500 and takes 8-10 weeks to be completed. Could someone please clarify?
Thank you

Hi Silverdragon102!
I know this is a late post, but this is by far the closest thread that I have seen which can relate to my situation.
I am a foreign graduate nurse and licensed in NY state. Now, I want to endorse my license to Virginia. Do I need to go through the CES process? If so, is it going to take long like 1.5years (my CVS took that long)? I am so confused right now.
Please, help.
Thank you.
