World Registration

My friend and I are applying for CES thru online—with my friend, prior to her nursing degree she had taken up a course for 1year while with mine, had another degree.

And these courses were non-Nursing education, should we include these or just our Nursing degree?

Thank you to anyone who can help…

no cgfns exam in nevada

azil2010, NV requires CES, so you can definitely use it but sadly, i guess they need SSN too before they can process your application, thou not quite sure. best to call the NV BON. call tuesday (US time) because monday is a holiday, they're close.

international grads are basically just an RN when they pass the NCLEX here in NV, if you're looking to take masteral classes, you gotta have a BSN from a US accredited institution (based on nurses experience -- i come from a long family of PI educated nurses). thinking of the same, would love to specialize on psych nursing but i'm still far from there..working on my reviews for my NCLEX RN

and like i said, when in doubt, call NV BON -- look for ms ***

Hello there,I'm planning on applying for the CGFNS in Nevada so I can take the NCLEX. The requirements only mentioned of a CES and it doesn't say anything about CGFNS examination. So does that mean I don't have to take the exam? I was also planning to take my masters program there.
Hi Kuyafern! i think were on the same boat.. i'm also planning to apply for NCLEX RN at Nevada BON. I'm just puzzled with this whole CGFNS report thingy...

Hi lasvegas77! looks like you had your eligibility already... I'm planning to apply for NCLEX RN here at Nevada BON. I have previously submitted my school credentials at CA BON but due to their recent changes like the Concurrent ob/ms thingy i don't thonk it's still possible for me to register and seat for an exam at CA BON. Like you,i'm already here in LV so i'm considering applying for NCLEX here in Nevada. But unlike the previous credentials i submitted at CA. Nevada has different set of requirements like CGFNS report which i'm not familiar with. I'm educated in PI but i'm already here in the US. you did mention in the other thread that they don't require TOEFL/IELTS? Thank you so much and i hope to hear from you.
Specializes in Medical and general practice now LTC.

CES is done through CGFNS and information can be found on the CGFNS website

nope, they dont require TOEFL or IELTS at all (as far as i know)

no CGFNS exam as well, just the CES. it may sound overwhelming but believe me the waiting time is the ONLY thing thats making it complicated.

the CES CGFNS evaluation takes like 4-6months (without any mistakes), so you gotta do it right the first time to avoid delays. then the waiting game begins :-)

id say call CES CGFNS for the procedure and all. they will email you all the infos you need to help you out, DONT STRESS YOURSELF OUT, coz once youre stressed, you wont be able to think straight.

HMU when you got questions, i posted a reply to the your response on the other thread about the study buddy. i cant send a PM here yet coz i dont have enough threads started to send a PM (i think they need like 15 to start sending PMs)

There's a list of counties who are exempted on taking TOEFL/IELTS on Nevada's website. And if your country is not on the list then you're required to take TOEFL/IELTS. I am a graduate from Philippines and planning to apply in Nevada. According to them applicants who are educated in the Philippines should complete the English proficiency exam.

It's only a CES report not a qualifying exam and you need to take IELTS too.Good luck!:)
Hi dragon lady ... Is high school diploma needed in sending to Cgfns? Thanks
