Is it true that patients will get to choose how they dream during an Anesthesia procedure and the CRNA will be able to make it happen by rapid eye movement technology

Coming soon to a hospital near you?

For example, I want to dream of the 95 House in 1975 where 4 baked stuffed shrimp cost $16.00

And Phyllis's Drive inn.

Absolutely true. And after the sugery, the patient is transported to recovery via a unicorn drawn gurney driven by a leprechaun.

Documented decrease in PONV as well.

Too funny! :lol2::roflmao:

During a general anesthetic, patients don't dream. Period. You are not sleeping in the traditional sense of the word. You are anesthetized. Two very different things.

Agree though I'm not a CRNA but I did have an extensive six hour surgery. No dreaming whatsoever. The Anesthesiologist said the CRNA was going to give me something through my IV and he said he was going to put the mask on me and that's all I remember until I woke up. It's weird because it felt like I lost time but it was instantaneous from when I went under. Like only seconds had passed but I knew it was 6 hours later because I looked at the clock but it didn't feel like that much time went by.

So yeah feeling weird yes, dreaming nope, and I remember my dreams.
