Cerritos college nursing fall 2018

Hello,

I was just wondering did anybody else apply to Cerritos College Nursing for Fall 2018? Do you guys have anything to share about the application, or application process, teas, or anything ?

I'm accepted as an alternate.

Not sure exactly what I'm going to do, I feel like I'm more in limbo now than before.

Rio Hondo's program starts the week of June 3rd.

Gonna have to make some calls/emails or see if I can know what number I am lol they don't give you that info in the letter unfortunately.

I'm sad/happy/sad/happy lmao

Is it bad that I haven't taken my TEAS? I was told I can wait on it, I'm currently far so if i receive the letter as accepted or alternate I'll be flying back home and getting everything ready. Does anyone know where I can take the TEAS? I've been studying this past week with free study guides online.

If you get accepted or make the alternate list, the letter says that the TEAS test you take will be on June 1 or June 2 (you pick one of those dates)

Yea, I got into Rio Hondo and Santa Ana, but I gave up my spot at Santa Ana.

I was sticking w/ Rio until Cerritos gave me their decision, but apparently they still really haven't given me a decision lol

Omg, that's closer than I thought, I don't have a passport so Idk if I can fly within California since I am at the border of CA and Oregon right now so I guess My passport wont be here in time. If I get accepted or alternate I guess I'm taking the train back home :(. When is the orientation? Ughh I can't wait for my letter, I just don't want to be disappointed. I really hope I get lucky.

I just checked my mailbox, but I didn't receive anything from Cerritos. I live in Fullerton (13 miles away)

It says the mandatory orientation is on Thursday, June 28 @ 8am

My Parents told me the same, Thank you. I was looking it up and wasn't sure since I saw different answers.

Thank you for letting me know. My parents are currently checking the mail. It just sucks because it ranges between 3pm-6pm when the mail comes. We sometimes don't receive mail until 8pm. I told them informed delivery didn't show anything for me so I might not receive anything until tomorrow or Monday.

That's so strange that they gave you the okay to submit your app then later stating you aren't qualified!!! Now that makes me even more nervous since I didn't receive my letter yet. I wish you the best in your future endeavors! Don't give up and stay positive! Your time to shine will come!
