Cerritos college nursing fall 2018

I was just wondering did anybody else apply to Cerritos College Nursing for Fall 2018? Do you guys have anything to share about the application, or application process, teas, or anything ?

Same!! I never win anything! (Raffles, scratchers, etc)

Ugh Cerritos is my #1, but I don't have a good feeling for some reason.

If I dont get in I will apply to Goldenwest next month. I think I have competitive points.I just wanted to start this Spring with Cerritos.

LATTC has guaranteed admission to program as long as you have all prerequisites...u just have to wait for a year to get in. Applications are always ongoing

I received my letter today. I was chosen as an alternate. I already submitted my TEAS exam scores, so I guess now I just have to wait some more to find out if I was accepted. I'm hoping that since they do their acceptance letters later in the year compared to other schools people will have already chosen other programs,so they'll accept a lot of alternates.

Yea it's my first time. I was accepted for Fall 2018 and I live in Santa Ana.

Hopefully you guys get in. :) I see a couple people getting rejection letters and of course people getting acceptance letters. It seems that they might have just sent them in random batches.

Goldenwest is open for applications again? I just submitted mine in February!

Hi all, I got my letter in the mail yesterday. I was chosen as an alternate as well. Called Health Sciences and was told that they don't give any information out regarding how many alternates there are/what spot you're in/the stats of how many alternates typically get into the program. This is just giving major anxiety, as Cerritos was kind of my last hope for this cycle of nursing school applications. I already sent in my TEAS score (86% overall) to the school, but was told that my score does not affect where I am on the alternate list at all. I intend to follow through with everything and attend orientation.

If anyone could share some insight if you have been an alternate or know anyone that has been in this position, that would be so helpful. Thank you.

Is it bad that I haven't taken my TEAS? I was told I can wait on it, I'm currently far so if i receive the letter as accepted or alternate I'll be flying back home and getting everything ready. Does anyone know where I can take the TEAS? I've been studying this past week with free study guides online.

I checked informed delivery and their is nothing coming for me today, Hopefully I get it tomorrow. I also feel I wont get in since I have no luck whatsoever but I just hope this once I get lucky.
