anyone applying this month for admissions into Fall 2013?

i'm attending the nursing application workshop this week to apply.

did you guys take developmental psychology before you applied?

i have taken pscyhology 101 at a different college, can that count as an alternate?

No I am in for fall 2013. Don't give up hope I'm sure alot of people will give up their spot

oh that's good! congrats! the lady said, if i don't get in for Fall 2013, i will start spring 2014 for sure. i still have to attend the orientation this coming June 6. see you there =)

it's because i already finished the first year from LVN program. it depends on space availability too. or how many students will fail from 2nd semester. i'm still crossing my fingers

This is for the students who were applying/accepted fall 2013.

1. when did you first start taking your nursing pre-reqs and how long did it take you/how many semesters did it take you to complete pre-reqs?

2. when did you (become eligible to)start applying for nursing school and how long did it take before you were accepted into a program?

3. what school were you accepted at or applying to?

thanks in advance for the information; im trying to estimate how long the entire process takes from start to finish :-)

So I've decided to stick with Rio Hondo :) The staff has been really great and they already know me from going into the office and calling! They're also closer to home (11 miles vs 24 miles) and have a great NCLEX pass rate. I think I was just wanting Cerritos because my friend went there and she liked it but I think when I'm in traffic, I'll wish I picked Rio Hondo. Haha. It'll give me more time to study and to be with my family which is most important :) Good luck to all of you!!

Thanks fionas32! I just registered for class today and have clinicals at Arcadia Methodist. I'm so excited!! Let me know how your orientation goes! I believe it's tomorrow isn't it? Hopefully you guys have already started getting your vaccinations in order. There's a lot to do if you don't have record of them on hand. Let me know where you guys have clinicals. I believe we have some of the same sites like Kaiser Downey.
