I am also applying for the Fall 2013 application period (but I am applying to the ADN program). If you are applying to the ADN program the developmental psych class is not required to be completed at the time that you apply. However, I believe it has to be completed or in progress for the LVN-RN program. I went today for the application workshop. The counselor said they have close to 500 applicants to the nursing program this year (last year it was approx 369). Best of Luck!!

500?! OMG THAT IS INSANE. The last workshop is on March15th. so there's more applications coming in. Good luck to you too! Did you ask them them when we will get notified of being accepted?

hello i applied for the fall 2013 program as well...im so anxious to find out what's going to happen...my science prereqs aren't all that great 2.79... i work full time and i am a single mother of two so i couldn't study like i was supposed to...im not a bad student..i just couldn't dedicate the time that i needed to get better grades..but oh well, we shall see...i have faith in God and He will lead me to my destiny :)

I was told applicants will receive a notice via snail mail of acceptance/rejection mid to late April. So within a month.

You're Welcome! I know, I really hope I get in to one of the schools I applied to. I have my TEAS exam next Wed. April 3rd and I have been really studying the past 2 weeks to prepare. I started studying back in Nov/Dec., but then needed to take a Chemistry class in January/February for a pre-req. and to refresh my mind for the chemistry info on the TEAS. So, here I am getting ready to take the exam finally next week! Have you scheduled your test yet?

i haven't taken my TEAS yet. my friend called last week and asked when we will be contacted for acceptances. the lady at the office said FIRST WEEK OF JUNE. i'm so confused. i haven't taken the TEAS exam yet. I will call again tomorrow myself and ask. It's too late now to ask. it's almost 5 pm.

WHOA! First week of June! I was so glad April finally arrived and it was just a matter of days to hear from them...it seems like a lot of programs have pushed out their notification of acceptance date. I actually just called Cerritos after reading your post and the lady I spoke to said that most likely middle of May (It could be June) and the reason is because they had over 500 applicants to the nursing program, 120 applicants to the dental program and 300+ to the PTA program and there are only 2 people who process all of the applications and so they realize they need to extend the deadline. She said, if acceptance letters do get mailed in April it will be a nice surprise, but don't count on it. So, looks like May and June are the new "months" on the calendar to wait for.
