CEP Feb. Applicants

U.S.A. Arizona

Published

Hi all! Anyone else applying for the CEP program through Maricopa Community College during this upcoming application cycle? I'm applying for the GCC/NAU program and was curious if anyone else is applying this semester as well. I'm hoping I make the cutoff - the program is becoming really popular really fast!

Here is to hoping we find out tomorrow!

That would be awesome! The suspense is killing me!

Same here hopefully we hear something this week.

Anybody got their email yet? Hopefully we start hearing something soon!

Not yet! Impatiently waiting lol. I did get an email from NAU welcoming me to their extended campus, but it didn't say more than that so I don't know if it's just a coincidence. Hopefully we will hear soon. If I remember right the spring applicants took 10 days to hear back.

I got the same email from nau

Hopefully it means good things!

I got that email too. It completely psyched me out for a split second. I hope it's a good sign. Although they could have just entered everyone's emails onto their mailing list?

Yeah, who knows. It might be something they send out to all the applicants, regardless. I know we might not find out this week but I hope we do. The anxiety is killing me lol. what program did you apply for? I'm hoping to get into gateway evening with NAU.

I would like GCC/NAU, because I'm more familiar with GCC, but I know there is a chance they will place me at EMCC. I didn't know how to rank the traditional/evening/weekend category because it all depends on what the schedule us (I don't have a job but I do have three kids and a husband who has a difficult schedule to work around). Do they even give you a choice or do you just get put in specific class and that's it? I will make it work either way...but it's always nice to hope for an ideal schedule!

I would guess they sent that to everyone. It would be nice to find out this week, but something is telling me we won't here anything till next week. I applied to NAU/Gateway for my first choice but days.

I don't work either and I have 3 kids as well. Gateway is a little bit further for me but I picked it because it has the evening program. I was told by the advisors that it's typically two evenings a week as well as either all day Friday or Saturday clinicals. I believe the semesters run a little bit longer but it would eliminate my need for childcare so I'm really crossing my fingers I get it. My second choice was MCC. On the application there was a spot to check on wether you wanted evenings or days. What nur 330 class did you choose? The one in June or the one in July?

I picked the one held on Tuesdays, which I'm pretty sure was the July class. My rationale was that my kids have early release on Mondays, however, my brain finally caught up and realized that the kids will be out of school by then. I wish I wouldn't have had that brain fart because I kinda want the June class - get it out of the way early. Oh well.
