CEP Feb. Applicants

U.S.A. Arizona

Hi all! Anyone else applying for the CEP program through Maricopa Community College during this upcoming application cycle? I'm applying for the GCC/NAU program and was curious if anyone else is applying this semester as well. I'm hoping I make the cutoff - the program is becoming really popular really fast!

I feel the same way. I know we won't hear for at least a week or two but I check anyways lol! I have a 94 in both the math and reading on the hesi and the nau advisor told me that that was really high from what she has seen so far, so yours is great! I applied for gateway evening as my first choice, which I really hope I get. I hope we hear soon. Good luck!

Hello everyone your posts really made me smile because I find myself checking my email knowing it has only been a day how crazy. I applied to Gateway/NAU. I ask the NAU advisor what she was seeing come through as scores, she said it was a mix of scores My GPA was 3.89 but my hesi was only a 88. I hope we all make it in and have a great experience.

Yeah, I'm really surprised at how many people applied this cycle. Originally, the nursing adviser at GCC told me that everyone that applied last cycle at GCC got in, but this year, they had to open more spots in the application dates because they had way more applicants than they were anticipated. Most of the people I chatted with there have really good stats, so I ended up leaving feeling pretty nervous about the whole thing. *fingers crossed*

The program is becoming more and more popular! I hope we'll all get in! I ended up applying to both nau and asu at mcc. Fingers crossed!! I just want to start nursing school already! How long have you guys been on the waitlist for?

I've been on since October so not too long. I applied to NAU/GCC hopefully we all get in to our selected programs!

Don't know how accurate this information is but one of the advisors at the application session said the first day they received 125 applications. So I'm guessing the same amount the second day. The NAU advisor said they took 150 people last year not sure how many they are taking this year, but that is all say so information. These next 2 weeks are going to be long.

I've been on the wait list since June of 2012. I think the 150 is nau only thought that doesn't count asu and uop, which each have 30 or so spots right ? I can't remember for sure , it's been almost a year since I attended the info session:) fingers crossed that we make the cut!

That sounds right.

I don't remember how many they are taking this year.

I've been on the list since October 2012. The wait has been killing me haha

I have only been on the waiting list for a few months.

Here is to hoping we find out tomorrow!
