CEN Laura Gasparis DVD/CD

I am a Critical Care nurse and I have the CCRN DVD's as well as the CD's (audio only). Does anyone have the CEN based lecture series? I am attempting to take the CEN, and I know how good the CCRN videos were. Considered swap?Thanks

Our clinical instructor showed us snippets of those DVD's last semester. At least for a first semester nursing student learning how to interpret ABG's it was REALLY helpful LOL! We are doing ABG's again now in med/surg and I was like, "I wish I could watch that one more time" B/C the way she explained it on the DVD made SO much more sense than the way were are learning it now.

I went through the review course with Jeff Solheim- which was awesome and completely worth if; it was great for my practice the test aside. If you didn't get go through it and you need the book let me know and I could sent it to you.

If you have the book and are willing to let me borrow it, I'd be grateful. Unlike the CCRN, does the CEN really require you to retake the exam everytime you have to re-up? Sounds crappy if so.

No, you can renew by CEUs as long as you don't let it lapse; this changed in 2002. Info is here: CEN-RO by CE

Not sure if this was just a alternate question, but I got a 2 part question on the CEN I took last week. It gave a senario and then 2 questions based on the same senario. Was a little different than I had practiced.
