Cedars-Sinai RN New Grad 2011

Just wanted to know if anyone here got an e-mail invitation on Cedars-Sinai RN New Grad Program. I had my phone interview with them on December 29th. I received my e-mail today inviting me to the hiring event Open House for the Program on January 19th. I'm soooo nervous. It's been almost a year since I graduated and I finally got my first in-person interview! It's been so hard on all of us graduates! Let's hope for the best! :D

hi,it doesnt really say how. But in the portfolio cover,I need to put ONLY one unit of interest. So Im not sure if Im only getting interviewed by my unit of choice or go through other units as well.

If I can go, maybe SICU or OR.the sad thing is I can't even go to that interview because I have clinical.Doing my preceptorship right now and I have to fulfill my hours. I can't reschedule it. =(

Oh nooooooooo!! I hope you can make it to the Open House! That would be such a shame if you missed out on a job position because of class (oh the irony).

Where are you doing preceptorship? Maybe you can make up your hours after the Open House?

I finally got my interview call this morning. Hopefully it went well. Only about 10 min. I was told that we would be notified next week about the open house.

Hey guys!

Congrats to those invited to the open house. I guess they are doing it differently this time around. I got an invitation a weeks ago without getting a phone interview, and I think someone on here is in the same position. Either way, keep your heads up, they're still going through the applicants.

I hope the march 2011 batch could give us some insights regarding this manager interview coming up. :yeah:

How are you all preparing for it? I just got my report cover.... lol

It comes as an email. The open house is June 8 at 4 pm.

I think it goes by appointment mine is at 3ish... But yeah it comes as an email from the recruiter... Good luck :)
