Hi, guys. I figure staring a thread for those who applied for the October cohort for Cedar Sinai New Grad Program. As for now, I believe the posting is closed.

Anyone received any calls or emails yet? It’s super unlikely we would this week but in one previous cohort people started getting call backs this week.

Me too!! It was unlikely we would have heard anything today but one previous year did. Looks like we’ll be waiting into next week...

ugh I’m so inpatient. I wonder what takes this long.

Agreed! Does anyone have an idea about the pay? Does it differ based on unit?

For the pay, I overheard someone saying it’s on the lower end. But if you stick it out we get a big pay raise after the first year. But I don’t know what they were considering “low”

Ah, that’s a bit of a bummer. For whatever reason in nursing school I heard it was higher end! I guess it’s all relative.

After the on-demand deadline, it took 8 days to get an email to go in person..yes I counted because I've been so anxious lol

From previous cohorts it seems like they call for job offers, and email rejections. The wait is killing me.

It just depends on area/ facility. I know of 3 hospitals where classmates started as new grads this year between $35-42, not including a differential. and I have another friend that starts below $30 for first few weeks of program.
