Cedars-Sinai New Grad Summer 2013

Just thought it would be helpful to post a new thread for the upcoming new grad program starting this summer. I've seen the thread for the program last year and wanted to see if anyone was one of the first 250 who applied for it this year. I applied for cohort #1 and got a phone interview last week and the gentleman said that I'd receive an e-mail within 1-2 weeks. I've also heard of people getting rejection emails as well without a phone interview. Anyone have additional info they'd like to share? Good luck to all us new grads out there!

An App went up on June 24th, but no one has reported getting a call back from it, only rejection emails. There is theory it went out too early, but unconfirmed.

They have already started contacting people for cohort 4 interviews

Sorry to crash your thread. Firstly, good luck to those still in limbo. Secondly, I'm from last summer's new grad program and I will be moving out of my 2bd/2bth apartment. My roommate needs someone to replace me. If you get an offer (CONGRATS) and need a place, I have a good size room and private bath and live within walking distance of Cedars. I applied to the last cohort and have an interview on Tuesday, anyone else going? Is it a panel/group interview? My nursing friend has an interview scheduled at the same time and I don't know what to expect.

For the second interview we were interviewed separately by an nurse educator, (but all in the same room).

Do you have the 2:45 one, tomorrow? I am dreading it. I wonder what kind of questions they are going to ask. I am from Ohio and I just moved here three months ago. I received an email for the interview just last Thursday. Good thing my instructors from Ohio were able to answer me right away (being it a Fourth of July weekend and all). Good Luck to us!
