Cedars-Sinai New Grad Summer 2013

Just thought it would be helpful to post a new thread for the upcoming new grad program starting this summer. I've seen the thread for the program last year and wanted to see if anyone was one of the first 250 who applied for it this year. I applied for cohort #1 and got a phone interview last week and the gentleman said that I'd receive an e-mail within 1-2 weeks. I've also heard of people getting rejection emails as well without a phone interview. Anyone have additional info they'd like to share? Good luck to all us new grads out there!

I just received an invitation to their open house this Wednesday:) Want to thank you for all previously posted on this thread; A ton of helpful information!

My hopes were dashed...just got a reject letter...even after getting a message left that they wanted to do a phone interview.

Happy Update: My message was actually not received on their end which is why I got a rejection. However, the gentleman I spoke to in HR went above and beyond for me...did the phone interview with me and I just got the invite up to the event tomorrow! Now that is excellent customer service! :-) Good luck to all of us tomorrow! :-) So grateful to get a chance at this amazing opportunity!:)

Happy Update: My return message was not received, thus the reject letter...however a gentleman in the recruiting office went above and beyond for me...ultimately giving me a phone interview and I just got my invitation for tomorrow! Now that's customer service! So grateful for the opportunity! Good luck to us all! :)

thanks Noboundary!! I was wondering for those who are going to the open house tomorrow how you guys are preparing for the interview? it seems like from previous posts that they will be asking medication questions?

I read the previous posts and they all seem to be saying the same thing that its a normal interview. Meds may be thrown at you but let's hope not lol.

For those who have attended the open house, how did it go?
