Hello everybody. My name is Bianca, and I'm a nurse residing in NYC. I started this thread for anybody who applied for the Spring 2022 New Graduate cohort and wanted to connect. I did not know this program even existed until yesterday when the recruiter recommended it to me after being ineligible for another position. With that being said, I wish everybody the best of luck and hope all of us get picked for our respective units ? (My 1st choice is Main OR and my Second choice is General Medicine, I think 8S- General Surgical)

That’s good! Hoping I get the same email soon. I can’t seem to get my recruiter to respond to any of my emails and it’s driving me crazy. 

EDIT: Also, was anyone able to try on uniforms? I just got the email to order but I thought I remember them saying in the initial Zoom meeting that we would have an opportunity to go in for a fitting first.

You will! ? I literally stalked my recruiter and spammed her with multiple emails because she was doing the same thing to me and I'm like this is kind of getting ridiculous because our start date is soon. She asked for my RN licensure 4 times, I kid you not.

Hi everyone! Does anyone know if we start at 8am or 9am tomorrow? Im a bit confused if we start the modules at 8am, or just wait until we have the zoom meeting at 9am.

I think I'm going to wait til the 9 am zoom. They probably might explain more about the modules during the meeting

It's scheduled for 8am so that you can get your full 8 hour day/40 hour week, and to give you a chance to finish all your modules, but you don't have to be at the meeting until 9am. You can also spend time at the end working on your modules. Good luck everyone!

So technically we can start the modules at 8 am to get the full 8 hour day/40 hour week?

yes, that's how they did it last time. Just keep track of your hours and your lunch break, and you will write in on a Kronos form later to get paid. They will explain that in your orientation. ?

I was offered 44 for nights. I don’t think that included night differentials.
