Hi everyone! I know it's early and this cohort's application won't be available until August 8th (license needed before then, interviews September 14th and 15th), but in case anyone is like me graduating in May and taking the NCLEX in June who aren't eligible for the earlier application rounds, I thought it would be nice to start a thread for us.
I was reading the new grad residency page and it looks like we will all be assigned to med/surg for a full year and can only apply for specialty units at the end of the one year mark after completing the residency program. Reading through past threads for other cohorts, this seems to be a different arrangement than others have experienced, possibly due to COVID.
I personally don't love that structure but Cedars Sinai really is an amazing place and opportunity. What do y'all think? Are you applying elsewhere also?
