Just wanted to start a thread for Cedars 2010 Grad program. Anyone heard back yet? What are your stats?

I received a call from Rita this morning at around 9am, and will be starting Feb 7. By the way, she asked me if I "filled out the emailed online application" (which was sent sometime after the RN open house), so if you received that email, it's probably a good thing =). Congratulations to all those offered positions!!! Great job! :yeah: I missed the application posting, but I was wondering for those who applied, interviewed, and/or offered positions did you have any connections at Cedars? I'm wondering if I may have a chance at all next time they post for their next new grad program. Thank you!

Just got the call today! i'm from the bay area, and didn't have any connections to Cedars.

Had a 3.5 GPA, but was very involved in school, and very enthusiastic through out the

interview/application process..

I didn't have any connections to cedars... but I did have 2 other interviews behind me! ha ha, so I felt a lot more practiced and relaxed than my first interview.

Hang in there everyone - 90 new hires is awesome and many many more calls are going to go out...!

Several of my friends from nursing school got hired there last year. They all had GPAs over 3.5 had done clinicals there and three of them had second languages (two Spanish, one Russian) which probably also helped. Cedars is also Magnet, so wants BSNs.

Can anyone from the Feb/Mar cohort give us some tips for the open house interview? I'm sure you guys know how nerve wacking it is to prepare! Thanks!
