Cedars-Sinai New Grad Program Spring 2017

Hey nursing world,

Just wondering if there is anyone out there who has applied to the Cedars-Sinai New Grad Program in Los Angeles for a start in February of 2017 (I believe).

I haven't seen any threads, thus far.

The questions will pop up on the screen and you are given like 30 seconds to think of something, then begin your response. You can watch the video before submitting it, and redo the question once I believe, but if you redo the question I don't think you can watch it.

For the questions, I found a list of 20 or so questions that cedars "likes to ask" (or so said the title of the list, haha) and I practiced my answers over and over. It helps to have 4 or so situations that you can look back on a apply what you learned during that time. Think of a situation or patient, what the issue was, how you resolved it, or how you would resolve it if it wasn't resolved, and finally what you took away from the experience.

Try not to panic (easier said than done), take a few deep breaths before starting, and try to have fun with it. I messed up a few times, giggled, said words wrong because I was so nervous, but was confident in my answers, and I made it to the next round. Try to be yourself and show them that you know what you are talking about!
