Just wondering if any of you went to the job fair today? What specialty did you interview for? How do you think the interview went? Was anyone offered a job on the spot? I interviewed for a med surg position with the manager. Not the best interview but it was ok. I was told I should hear something from the director within 2 weeks with a decision. Does anyone know how many positions they are trying to fill?
Anyone?

Hello! I was not aware that there was a career fair for Cedar Sinai. Was the fair just for experienced RNs or were they interviewing new grad RNs also? Also, if you are a new grad, did they mention anything about their Residency Program for this year? Good luck and hope you get the call

hey i just found this thread.
i went to that cedars interview event. i applied for MedSurg but got interviewed for telemetry since i had telemetry background. i spoke with the supervisors of the floor first, then got passed onto the manager. i was pretty much hired on the spot. the manager just told me to wait for a call from HR.
my orientation start begins next monday feb 18th. i have no clue how many positions they were hiring but it looked like they were hiring a few in many departments.
good luck RNewbie!

Amor28 do you have a BSN? I thought about going to the fair since I have more than 1 year experience in telemetry, but I have a few ex coworkers working there and they told me not to bother since I don't have a BSN.......
Thanks for responding. I wasn't hired on the spot but they called a week later to offer me a med/surg position. I'm excited but the new hire process is taking so long. I start orientation in march.

Hey, I'm planning to apply to Cedars Sinai! Unfortunately, I didn't know they had a job fair in January. Does anyone know what is the best way to apply for a med/surg position there? Thanks!!
Go online and apply for open positions. Maybe try to forward your resume to HR directly or go to HR and drop off your resume.
