  1. I was wondering how the program has been going for you so far? I am interested in SMU's MSN FNP program but haven't seen too many reviews from current students of the program. I was wondering if you can spare some insight and if you would recommend the program to prospective FNP students? Thank you so much for your time. I know this is a about a year late in response but I honestly I have yet to find current reviews on the program. Thanks in advance.
  2. The program starts end of march. If selected you will have to do all the pre-employment screening and stuff mid-march! Good luck!
  3. Pacey03: Thanks! Was the interview a panel or were you just interviewing with one person?
  4. kit86: I wasn't able to get much info from the lady that called either. But I think it might be a panel. (not positive) Which hospital did you apply to? blueorchid981: I think the program starts in March and I applied through the hospitals' website.
  5. Hi, I have an interview at Gardena on the 12th but I applied to East Los Angeles Doctors Hospital. Where did you apply and when is your interview?
  6. I think they are still interviewing this week and will probably make the decision sometime next week. But I have no other updates...
  7. Yes, stay positive guys! When did you guys submit your documents. I submitted mine on Wednesday (Jan. 16th). I'm sure HR has to go through a lot of applications and are probably still looking through all of them.
  8. Congrats and good luck on the interview Miyalove! Did you end up picking different units since they didn't offer new grad positions for the units you wanted?
  9. Blueorchid: The link isn't up anymore. I would maybe call HR soon to see when they are posting for the next cohort and just keep your eyes out for it.
  10. Perfect! I talked to career services at my school and she contacted the recruiter about the program. Hollywood Pres is planning on hiring around 15 people I think, but the number could change. Just out of curiosity: Are you guys BSN/ADN, have experience in healthcare, etc? I wonder how she screened those that got e-mail vs. those that didn't. I, myself, am a BSN and have CNA experience currently. Nice to meet you guys!
  11. Hello! I was not aware that there was a career fair for Cedar Sinai. Was the fair just for experienced RNs or were they interviewing new grad RNs also? Also, if you are a new grad, did they mention anything about their Residency Program for this year? Good luck and hope you get the call
  12. Hi guys, I wanted to start a thread on the Hollywood Presbyterian RN Residency Program, so we can keep each other updated. The start date for the program is March 4. Good luck to all that applied. Any info about Hollywood Presbyterian's hiring process would, also, be appreciated!! Thanks
