Hey everyone

I got this from my recruiter yesterday

If any of you have friends who are Critical Care or OR nurses who may be

interested in the Army Reserves please let them know that they just

raised the signing bonus for those specialties to $37,500 for a three

year commitment. The minimum educational requirement is a BSN.

ADN/diploma nurses joining the Reserves arent getting any sign-on bonuses this year. Apparently they overrecruited last fiscal year and alot of the nurses actually had to go on an OML to get in this fiscal year. My recruiter (not a very reliable source of information so take it for what you will) said that if this year repeats last year, all of the Reserves nursing slots will be filled by 15 Jan.

Um..nope..hahaha

Actually Im an old school diploma nurse, just waiting for my packet to go to boards. Since Im not getting any bonus, Im just gonna let them pay for my BSN :) More than one way to skin a cat.
